MTI to Hold Ten Workshops on $45 Million Grant Funding Opportunity

Brunswick, ME – September 28, 2017. Following voter approval of the research and development (R&D) bond referendum in June 2017, the Maine Technology Institute (MTI) is responsible for soliciting projects from Maine organizations looking to make investments in R&D equipment, infrastructure and technology upgrades to drive innovation in Maine. MTI has instituted a “Lightning Round” this Fall to learn more about what projects are out there in research, development and commercialization that will help them gain and hold market share, increase revenues, and grow or preserve jobs for Maine people, and need some funding to incentivize the leap.
