Biddeford startup may provide farms with unusual field hands — robots

(From Mainebiz) Biddeford-based, Farmhand Automation is developing low-cost electric robots to help farms scale operations. MTI has made several awards to the startup. The company also won $250,000 through the recent Maine Clean Energy Innovation Challenge, an MTI and Governor’s Energy Office joint initiative.
