$80M Vertical Harvest project hits the halfway mark

(From Mainebiz) MTI portfolio company, Vertical Harvest, has hit the halfway mark in the $80 million build-out of a vertical farming venture in Westbrook. The company is creating an urban solution to feed local people by using a controlled environment to nurture vertically grown agriculture. Vertical Harvest also aims to reduce barriers and offer economic independence for people with intellectual and physical disabilities.
