With new funding, UMaine offshore wind project ‘back in the game’

(Reprint from Mainebiz 11/17/2015) - Monday's announcement that a consortium led by University of Maine will get a $3.7 million funding boost from the U.S. Department of Energy puts Maine back in the running for a $40 million grant to install two six-megawatt wind turbines in deep water off Monhegan Island.
