Electric boats starting to make waves on Maine’s working waterfronts

(From News Center Maine) The Island Institute, in partnership with Pendleton Yacht Yard and Flux Marine, recently launched the first electric workboat. Maine's working waterfronts aim utilize all-electric outboard motors for small boats used by harbormasters and aquaculture farms. The Island Institute's efforts are supported by PRIME Ecosystem funding, administered by MTI.
