Elmet Technologies expansion comes with statewide recognition

(From centralmaine.com) Lewiston-headquartered, Elmet Technologies, was a recipient of the 2023 Governor's Award for Business Excellence, in recognition of the company's contributions to Maine. Elmet has become the largest U.S.-owned and -based producer of tungsten and molybdenum materials and products, with over 400 employees across three facilities in Maine, Ohio and Michigan. Since 2015, MTI has made several vital awards to Elmet to help grow its R&D capacity, and preserve and grow its employment base and economic impact in Maine.
