NASA will fund testing of rocket engine parts made with 3D printing

(From Mainebiz) As part of a consortium program called NASA EPSCoR RID, a $50,000 grant from the Maine Space Grant Consortium will help rocket-maker bluShift Aerospace find out if the process of using 3D printed parts is better than standard industry processes. The Brunswick-based company has received ongoing support from MTI.
