Portland renewable power company enters deal with Shell on Mississippi River project

(From Portland Press Herald) Ocean Renewable Power Company (ORPC) is a global leader in renewable power systems that generate electricity from free-flowing river and tidal currents. The company recently signed a contract with Shell Technology – Marine Renewable Program for the purchase of two next-generation Modular RivGen devices. MTI has been a consistent funder and supporter of ORPC since its inception.
